Access Britney fully opened on March 31st 2009, as a resource into the career of Miss Spears. The name Access Britney was already in the works for about two years before our launch.

Where did the name “Access Britney” come from?
As many fans know, Britney is always viewed with a microscope thanks to the paparazzi and media. We won’t lie and say we agree with everything she does, but it’s truly sad on how far the media still went with her personal struggles in life. We weren’t too sure if we wanted to have a website on Spears during the gossip that was bouncing back and forth. Many of you fans seemed bothered by the reports and we just didn’t want to be part of blogging her personal life. In the end of the day, it’s really no ones business, but the media seems to struggle and strive for that tabloid information.

After watching countless breaking stories of her life during 2007 and 2008, we were working on a creative website name that would mock the media. Access Hollywood seems to inform you with all information 24/7 on today’s Hollywood celebrities. It appeared that Britney was a major hot topic for many entertainment, media and news outlets. So, that’s when the title came to mind. Access Britney. A website that give you a daily dose of Britney information. It’s almost like a full pass into Britney’s life, but not in a personal way. It’s more like a pass behind her career life.

What does Access Britney offer?
