Britney Spears: The Singles Collection/Album
The rumors started early summer 2009 for a release of an album by Britney Spears titled as the “Singles Collection/Album”. No word was confirmed, so many websites took this with a grain of salt. Mid summer 2009, Spears was caught going back and forth to the recording studio with Max Martin, while touring in Europe for her CIRCUS tour.
Rumors were going around that Spears was recording her next studio album, but then later went back to the singles collection. Late August, MTV later updated the albums page for Spears, which added the “Singles Collection”. Recently Amazon and Walmart were seen with the “Singles Collection”. So, with the rumors going around, I guess it confirmed that Spears will be releasing a album soon with some of her number #1 hits, with some new songs as well. We are hearing that a October 2009 release is set.
