Baby One More Time was the first album that marked Spears’ career. This album was a huge success, which was released on January 12, 1999. Her first smash hit was produced by Max Martin, who Spears has also later worked with during her career.

The second studio album was titled “Oops! … I Did It Again“. The record was released on May 16, 2000. Singles from the second studio album included the self title name “Oops I Did it Again”, “Stronger”, “Lucky” and “Don’t Let Me be the Last to Know”.

Britney (2001)
The third studio album released by Spears and her record label “Jive Records”, which was self-titled “Britney” released on November 5, 2001. Spears’ image changed dramatically on “Britney” starting with her first track “I’m a Slave 4 U”. Along with “I’m a Slave 4 U”, other singles such as “Overprotected”, “Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman”, “Boys” and “I Love Rock & Roll” followed with the album’s release.

In the Zone” was the fourth studio album from Spears, which released on November 16, 2003. The album included a collaboration with Madonna and the Ying Yang Twins. “In the Zone” viewed Spears as a sex image in the public eye. The “Greatest Hits: My Prerogative” record released on November 1, 2004. The greatest hits featured some of Spears’ iconic songs from the past. The record also included three new songs titled “My Prerogative”, “Do Somethin” and “I’ve Just Begun (Having My Fun)”. Out of the three new singles, Spears released “my Prerogative” and “Do Sometin” as singles.

Blackout” was Spears’ fifth studio album which was released on October 30th 2007. Despite having rough times, Blackout was marked as a powerful album full of up-beat songs. Her song “Piece of Me” represents herself as a singer/mother who’s been affected by the media outlets. Not only was “Piece of Me” a powerful hit, but also “Gimme More”. Following the two singles, “Break the Ice” was also released from Blackout.

Circus (2008)
Circus” was the sixth studio album by Spears which was released on her 28th birthday (December 2nd 2008). “Circus” was labeled as the official comeback album, but for Britney and her fans…that’s not how the album was viewed. The theme of “Circus” was set up in reference to her life being an actual “circus” in the public eye. Hit singles included “Circus”, “Womanizer”, If U Seek Amy” and “Radar”.

The Singles Collection (2009)
After taking a break from the full year of touring “The Circus: Starring Britney Spears”, Godney and Jive Records released a singles collection, which featured all her hit singles from “Baby One More Time” to her latest song “3″. The record was offered in two versions, one as a standard version and the second as a special packaging black box, which made the perfect fan gift on November 10 2009.

Femme Fatale (2011)
The seventh studio album (Femme Fatale) was released on March 29th 2011. The album is compared to the previous record “Blackout” (2007), which features a similar dance and up-beat sounds. In a V Magazine interview, Spears explained that the “bitch is back”. Her single “Hold it Against Me” was only the start of the success for Femme Fatale.

Although new songs aren’t featured on the remixed album; B In the Mix, The Remix Vol. 2 is the perfect remixed album for Britney fans.
