(NEW YORK, May 15 2012) – Britney fans are excited to hear that Britney has been confirmed as one of the X-Factor judges. So what can fans expect?

Yesterday the X-Factor crew headed out to New York City Monday night to reveal their announcement for the new season. The Associated Press interviewed the crew briefly on the red carpet. Spears explained “just being able to be there and to inspire the other contestants and there so young and their trying to fulfill their dreams. It’s just a whole beautiful concept. Being able to be part of this is REALLY cool”

(NEW YORK, May 14th 2012) – After countless rumors speculating the status of Britney’s deal to host the X-Factor, it’s finally official. Britney will host the upcoming season of the X Factor US!

Britney joined returning judges Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid, as well as fellow new judge Demi Lovato, at Fox’s Up-Fronts conference to make the announcement.

“I am so excited about this whole experience,” said Britney at the event. “It’s gonna’ be so much fun and so different from anything I’ve ever done, and I’m ready to find the true star.”

Returning judge, and creator of the popular singing competition, Simon Cowell, shared in the excitement.

(NEW YORK – April 13th 2012) – Britney gave E! News an exclusive look behind the scenes on the set of her new Twister Dance commercial shoot.

E! praised Britney’s appearance in the ad, saying it “proves she’s still Queen of the Spotlight.” Britney’s wardrobe for the shoot also received some notoriety — specifically the $20,000 BodyRock sports bra she donned. According to E! News, the bra features 18 carat gold accents and swarovski crystals.

Though Britney rocked a pretty glamorous look for the shoot, she showed her maternal side during the on-set interview with E!

“Me and my children, we play tons of games all the time but our favorite thing to do is, definitely, dance,” Britney said.

(NEW YORK, April 11th 2012) – While rumors about whether or not Britney will join the judges’ panel on the X-Factor are still heating up the web, it has just been revealed on Britney’s official Facebook page that MTV’s popular dance show, America’s Best Dance Crew, will be paying tribute to the Princess of Pop on their season premiere tonight.

Britney’s Facebook page was updated today with a link to a Facebook event page for the occasion, and a message urging fans not to “miss the season premiere of America’s Best Dance Crew paying tribute to Britney on MTV tonight.”

The season premiere airs tonight at 10pm PT on MTV.

(NEW YORK, April 5th 2012) – Britney may be taking a break from the spotlight after her highly-successful Femme Fatale Tour, but that hasn’t stopped her longtime pal, Madonna, from urging Brit to make an onstage comeback.

After Brit complimented Madonna on her new album, MDNA, on twitter, saying, “Love the new album – every single song is incredible,” Madonna replied with a flirty invitation to her upcoming world tour.

“Please come on stage and kiss me again,” Madonna tweeted. “I miss you!!”

Britney didn’t hesitate to respond with an equally-flirty tweet, “Tempting…”

This led Madonna to ask Britney, “Are you gonna make me work for this?” to which Britney replied, “Why of course!”

(NEW YORK, March 9th 2012) – Simon Cowell recently appeared on a local Fox News affilliate to discuss the changes coming to the second season of the US version of The X Factor. Needless to say, Britney’s involvement with the show was a hot topic during his interview with the news station.

“It’s a possibility,” said Cowell. “We’ll have to see.”

It appears that any discussion going on between Cowell and Team Spears is nearing the final stages. Cowell himself expressed concern over last-minute changes in the interview.
